This guitar is presented in a custom handmade hard case covered in black tolex and lined with champange crushed velvet.
This guitar was made in collaboration with The Piano Shop Bath as part of their Played & Remade project and was constructed, for the most part, with salvaged wood and components from scrapped pianos.
Some notable elements include:
- Visible finger joint on the back of the headstock
- Piano key celluloid 'GL' logo
- Original brass fallboard inlays on the headstock
- Original brass inlays on the end graft
- Custom tuner buttons made from repurposed piano brass.
