A european spruce and walnut Model - O with brazilian rosewood bridge, fingerboard and bindings, dyed maple headstock veneer and end wedge (with original brass inlays, see below), rosewood and brass rosette, brass purfling and custom brass tuner buttons.
This guitar was made in collaboration with The Piano Shop Bath as part of their Played & Remade project and was constructed, for the most part, with salvaged wood and components from scrapped pianos.
Some notable elements include, the visible finger joint on the back of the headstock from where the original boards were joined, piano key celluloid GL logo, the original brass fallboard inlays on the headstock veneer / model name inlays on the end wedge and the custom tuner buttons, also made from repurposed piano brass.
