Artist Collaboration Series:
Rinus Van de Velde
A full African mahogany custom electric with ebony fingerboard, headstock and cavity covers, Gotoh hardware, a Kent Armstrong P90 pickup and a custom form-fit case.
This guitar was designed in collaboration with Belgian visual artist Rinus Van de Velde and features the artist's hand and finger prints rendered in his signature medium of charcoal sealed under nitro-cellulose lacquer.
The artist also redesigned the mother-of-pearl 'GL' logo on the headstock and engraved case plate using his own handwriting, a feature often found in many of his artworks.
